Welcome to the late night show of singer and music producer LATENINE6. Switch the channel, what is playing may be an interview show, an interesting advertisement, a travel scene, or a homemade movie... All the programs here are directed and acted by LATENINE6, it serves the audience as well as his own inner expectations - "Let's exchange sincerity and have a relaxed conversation."

"THE LATENIGHT SHOW" is a companion album with the core concept of "late night TV show". It not only conveys nostalgia, but also serves as LATENINE6's first transformation work, in which he tried to change from the role of a rapper to a richer vocal expressions. He independently designed the content and music framework for each "program", injecting emotions, and desire to bring audience closer through authentic narratives.

This is also an album related to identity play. What is intended to be presented through the songs is the stage built for oneself by ordinary people who love music. In the daily life that is not focused by the flash, in the scenes of daily drama performances, to find those characters you want to be, and find yourself.

"In my memory, the existence of TV programs is very safe. When I was a child, my parents were not at home, and I would always watch TV and wait for them to come back. When I was 14 years old, for some reason, I needed to go to a strange city and live alone, I had to turn on the TV even when I was sleeping. As long as it was playing, I would feel safe.
Nowadays, people are very accustomed to the use of smartphones. There are endless short videos to watch every day, but sometimes we feel more lonely and anxious the more we watch.
So when I was imagining the concept of the album, I tried to aurally deliver the warm sense of companionship in the past. I didn’t need to elaborate on the philosophy of life, nor to describe the ups and downs of the plot. Those songs were just some very ordinary fragments of life, and these fragments constitute the most authentic self."

《THE LATENIGHT SHOW》是一张以“电视深夜秀”为核心概念的陪伴型专辑，不止传递着怀旧情结，作为雷玖陆首张转型之作，他在其中尝试了从说唱歌手角色转向更丰富的人声表达，并独立为每一档“节目”设计了内容和音乐框架，注入情感，渴望通过真切地叙述拉近当下彼此的距离。

这也是一张与身份扮演有关的专辑，意欲通过歌曲呈现的，是热爱音乐的普通人为自己搭建的舞台，在不被闪光灯所聚焦的日常中，在一幕幕生活情景短剧表演中，找寻想成为的那些角色，找寻自己。

“在我的记忆里，电视节目的存在是非常具有安全感的。小时候爸妈不在家，我都是看着电视等他们回来。14岁那年出于某种原因，我需要前往一座陌生的城市独自生活，那时的我连睡觉都要开着电视，只要播放着它就会很安心。
到如今人们都很习惯了智能手机的使用，每天有无穷无尽的短视频可以刷，但总感觉越看越寂寞，越看越焦虑。
所以当我在构思专辑概念时，就试图把过去那种温暖的陪伴感听觉化，我不用去刻意阐述人生哲理，也不用去描绘跌宕起伏的剧情，它就是生活里非常稀松平常的一个个片段，而这些片段所组成的就是最真实的那个自我。”
